Forest Lodge Library is a full-service library. Our emphasis is on natural history, with a good selection of Wisconsin and Native American books. The Children's reading area is comfortable and inviting. We also provide the public with free access to three high-speed Internet stations. The Mary and Jackson Burke Foundation has generously donated art catalogues from the acclaimed art collection of Mary Griggs Burke.

Our Interlibrary loan program is excellent and specific titles can be requested while visiting our library or via the web. Simply click on the the "Search the Merlin Catalog" link and search for titles, authors, subjects and/or words. Items can be requested online and will be delivered to the library within a few days.
Our loan period for most materials is three weeks, except for videos, which are loaned for one week. Anyone is eligible for a library card. However, children 16 and under must have their card co- signed by a parent or guardian.
Visitors to the area are more than welcome to use the library whenever they are in the Cable area.
