Description
The Forest Lodge Library continues its My Favorite Films series on Thursday, December 8th at 6:30 p.m. with a look at the films of Woody Allen. This month’s offering is Love & Death, Allen’s 1975 send-up of Europe at war and his homage, of sorts, to Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Eisenstein and a few other intellectual and comedic influences. Allen’s character, Boris, sits in a prison cell awaiting execution for the attempted assassination of Napoleon.
