Hear the tale of six canoeists that paddled 405 miles and portaged 6 miles during a month-long traverse of Nunavut Territory through the barrenlands of central Canada.  Presenter Mel Baughman has lived in Hayward since 2012 after retiring from a career as forestry professor and Extension forester. On this evening he will share his experiences on a month-long canoe trip across the Canadian Territory of Nunavut. This is just one of the 20 plus canoe trips he has taken on wild rivers in Canada.
