half-log bookshelvesThe Forest Lodge Library's print collection includes hundreds of fiction and non-fiction titles with a special collection of Wisconsin material.

The fiction collection is housed in the first section of the library, past the vestibule entry. The sizeable mystery collection is shelved in the main library area.

Children's books share an area with Juvenile fiction and non-fiction and Young Adult fiction.

The New Book shelf abuts the Juvenile/YA area.

The Forest Lodge Library maintains a good collection of Field Guides and, thanks to a grant from the Mead Witter Foundation,Inc. of Wisconsin Rapids, a wide and current collection of Travel Guides.

Our considerable DVD collection is housed on the carousel closest to our backdoor as well as a three-door lateral file cabinet on the floor adjacent to it. The Forest Lodge Library offers hundreds of fiction and documentary titles, current and classic. There is another selection of Nature DVDs and selections directed at youngsters, located in our kid's area.

The Forest Lodge Library subscribes to a wide variety of periodicals in subjects of interest for area residents as well as carrying local newspapers.

If we don't have it, we can acquire it from another library in the Northern Waters Library Service system or via WISCAT, the Wisconsin Catalog that covers the state...and beyond.
