Description
Digging up Dirt on our Ancestors:Revisited at the Forest Lodge Library
The Community Conversation continues on Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 7:00 p.m. Anthropologist Tom Correll will present the continuation of a program entitled Digging up Dirt on our Ancestors: What Archeologists Do and Say. Our last scheduled date with Mr. Correll coincided with a major winter storm, and he graciously agreed to reprise his presentation.
Mr. Correll has taught archeology at a college level and will share facts, artifacts and experience. The Forest Lodge Library is excited to offer our patrons and friends another opportunity to learn about the real work that archeologists do. Community Conversation programming typically lasts about an hour.
The Community Conversation is an opportunity for area residents to share their expertise, their experience, their interests and their issues with others in the community. If you have a subject you’d like to discuss, please contact Forest Lodge Library Director Kristine Lendved at 798-3189.
The Forest Lodge Library is located in an historic log cabin at 13450 Cty Hwy M in downtown Cable, two blocks east of its intersection with State Hwy. 63.
